In 2012, gaming company Amaya completed the acquisition of Cryptologic. After beginning as a system for conducting financial transactions, the company has grown to include the operation of its own own casinos, such as InterCasino. After some time, they entered into partnerships with major players in the business, including as Betfair and William Hill. It was utilised in the software that Playboy released in 2007 for its casino and poker businesses.
